The 210 E-class really can´t compare to the 124. Production cost was 30-35% lower than the 124, and it shows. I don´t think it´s a bad car, but it´s not a very good Mercedes - if you get the picture. If looks and feels cheap (interior), rusts like an old Honda, and there´s a rather lot of noise inside them. The 280 4Matic was a ´98 Elegance.
