That means that even if you don’t own the other expansions, you’ll be able to mix and match weapons from the elite specializations associated with them. (You’ll still need to own the appropriate expansion and fully unlock each elite specialization to make use of its trait line—not to mention getting the signature weapon and armor piece!)

Complete the Harvest Temple Strike with that profession once to unlock the accessory and ring, and twice to unlock the amulet.

If so it looks like it'd require about another 93 skill points to unlock the elite specialization and the skills that come with it, so you'd need about 160 skill challenges completed (out of 213 in the game, including the 189 for world completion and the rest in Dry Top/Silverwastes/WvW maps).
Things like mounts, gliders, speed mushrooms, etc. Most hero point runs will say you need "level xx glider" or "only raptor mastery needed". Most HoT hero point runs only need level 1 raptor or glider, as mesmers will help you the rest of the way (dear mesmers I love you). Elite specs are class specific and have to be unlocked per toon.
